Megala Enterprises

Our shop is Megala Enterprises, and you can find us at 78, Perumal Koil Street in Papanayakan Palayam. It’s a busy little street in Coimbatore, and we’ve been part of this community for quite a while now. We do a bit of everything here, mostly dealing with general supplies and enterprise needs for local shops. The street is usually full of scooters and people walking to the temple nearby. Our front door stays open most of the day to let in some air, though it also lets in all the street noise. We have shelves packed with all sorts of items, and sometimes it takes us a minute to remember exactly where we put something. It’s not a high-tech operation by any means. We use a ledger for some things and an old computer for others. The wooden counter has some scratches from years of use, but it’s sturdy enough. We know most of the people who walk by, and they often stop in just to say hello or ask for a bit of advice on something they’re buying. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who handle the sales and the heavy lifting. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we have a couple of old fans that rattle while they spin. We just try to be helpful and keep the shelves stocked with what people need. It’s a simple way to run a business.
