Akas Corporation

Up here on the first floor of 235 Vivekanandha Road is where Akas Corporation runs. We are right in the middle of Ram Nagar. It gets pretty loud outside during the day because Rangammal Girls High School is just a short walk away. You can hear the bells and the kids when they get out of class. Our office isn’t huge but it fits what we need. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at papers. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it hard to find parking but we manage. We’ve been in this building for a bit now. It’s got that old feel to it. People come up the stairs looking for different things. We don't do much fancy advertising. Most people know we are here because they pass by the school or live in Ram Nagar. It’s a steady kind of life. We keep our files organized as best as we can but things get cluttered when we are busy. We have a few desks and some chairs for when visitors stop by. It’s not a corporate showroom. It’s just where we work every day. We try to get through the tasks and go home. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to catch up on. Being on Vivekanandha Road means we see everything happening in the street below.
