Mecco Enginering Company

Mecco Enginering Company is situated at 33, Kannuswamy Gounder Street in Rathinapuri. It’s a pretty typical street for this part of town, with houses and small businesses all mixed together. Our workshop is right on the ground floor, so we see everything that happens on the street throughout the day. We have some old lathes and milling machines that have been with us since we started. They aren't the newest models, but they still run fine if you know how to treat them right. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks in it, and we have a habit of leaving our tools scattered around while we’re in the middle of a project. Rathinapuri is a lively neighborhood, and we often have neighbors poking their heads in just to say hello or ask for a quick favor. We don't have a corporate office or anyone in a suit working here. It’s just us in our work shirts, trying to stay on top of the pile of work that never seems to end. The summer months are tough because the shop turns into an oven, but we just drink a lot of water and keep going. We don’t make big promises or talk about being the best. We just do the work the way we were taught and hope it’s enough to keep the lights on for another year. It’s simple and it works for us.
