Our place is at S.F. No. 2/2 in Panapatti, which is out on the Palladam Road near Chettipalayam. It’s a bit away from the main city noise, which is nice most of the time. Mdl Vishal India is a straightforward operation. We have a shed where most of the work happens and a small area that counts as an office. It gets pretty dusty here because of the open spaces and the wind. We don't have air conditioning in the main work area, so we rely on big ceiling fans to keep the air moving. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. We know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s more like a small community than a corporate office. We handle different kinds of manufacturing work. Some days we are busy with big orders, and other days we are just cleaning the machines and doing maintenance. There isn't a lot of hierarchy here. If something needs to be moved, we all help out. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. People mostly find us through word of mouth or because they see our building from the road. It’s an honest way to make a living. We show up early, do the work, and hope for rain so the crops nearby do well. It’s just how things are for us out here on the road.
