Matrix Gold Mart Private Limited

Our place is on 12th Avenue in Ashok Nagar, specifically at 73/61. It is a nice neighborhood with some trees along the road. The shop isn't very large, but we have enough room for a few customers at a time. We mostly deal with gold. The walls are painted a light color to make the space feel bigger. We spend our day sitting behind the counter. Sometimes we have to wait between customers, so we read the newspaper or talk about the local news. Ashok Nagar is a busy part of the city, so there is always something happening outside. We have a small air conditioner that we turn on when it gets too hot in the afternoon. We don't have a big marketing team. It’s just us running the shop. We keep our gold in a heavy safe at the back. Every evening, we count everything to make sure it matches our notes. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we are used to it by now. People from the nearby apartments come in for small things like earring backings or to get a ring resized. We like being part of the 12th Avenue community. It’s a familiar place and we know where everything is. We don’t plan on moving anywhere else. It works for us and we keep the doors open six days a week for the regulars.
