Marna Desing Guild

The office for Marna Desing Guild is up on the first floor of 120-A. We are right there on Seventh Street in Tatabad. It’s one of those busy streets where finding a parking spot for a scooter can be a real headache some mornings. The office isn't very large. There are some desks pushed against the walls and a lot of sketches and paper samples lying around. The light coming in through the front window is okay, but we usually have the overhead lights on all day. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always spinning. You can hear the sounds of the street below, cars honking and people shouting. It’s not a quiet place, but it feels like work is getting done. We’ve been here for a while now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. There is a small pantry in the back where we keep the kettle for tea. Most of the time, the floor is covered in small scraps of paper or bits of thread from whatever we are working on. We don't have fancy furniture for guests, just a few plastic chairs. People who come to see us usually know what they're looking for. It’s just a regular workspace where we spend most of our waking hours trying to figure out designs and getting things ready for clients. It is a simple place and it works for us.
