Our place is tucked away at No.25-C in Kavalai Thottam. If you know the Kalapatti Road area in Saravanampatti, we aren't too hard to find. We spend most of our time dealing with boards, laminates, and edge banding. It’s a lot of measuring and then measuring again because nobody wants a cabinet that doesn't fit the wall. The workshop gets pretty covered in sawdust by the end of the day, no matter how much we sweep. We started doing these modular setups because people around here wanted things that looked decent but didn't cost a fortune. It’s mostly us and a few helpers putting things together. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Usually, there are just some samples leaning against the wall and a desk covered in sketches and scraps of paper. Sometimes we have to go out to a house and spend all day drilling into concrete or leveling out a wardrobe. It’s honest work. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. We aren't trying to be some big international brand. We’re just local guys making kitchens and cupboards for the neighbors and businesses nearby. If a hinge is squeaky, we fix it. If a drawer sticks, we sand it down. That is how things go here at Furntech Modulars. We just keep at it and try to stay organized.
