Down here on Irugur Road in Kulathur Village, things stay pretty steady. We are at Sf No.657/2-1, right near Venkitapuram Post. Our day usually starts with a lot of phone calls to painters and carpenters to see who is actually showing up at the site. We do interior work, but it’s mostly just making sure the right materials get to the right house at the right time. There is always a lot of dust and the sound of hammers when we are in the middle of a project. We don't have a big corporate office with leather chairs. It’s mostly just us sitting around a table with floor plans and a few tile samples. We walk through a lot of empty buildings and try to figure out where the sockets should go or how to hide the wiring. It gets hot during the summer, but we just keep moving. Sometimes a client changes their mind about a color at the last minute, and we have to scramble to get it changed before the painters start. It’s a lot of back and forth, really. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the locals know we’re just practical people trying to get the job done. We don't promise anything we can't actually do. We just take the measurements, buy the wood and paint, and get to work. It’s a messy business but we like seeing the rooms change.
