Out in Kalapatti, specifically at 25/218 in Chennipaliya, is where we set up our machines. Manto Cnc Technologies isn't as high-tech as the name might make it sound to some people. Yes, we have CNC machines, but the shop itself is a very normal, local workplace. It’s a bit of a dusty area, and we are constantly cleaning the machines to keep them running right. Chennipaliya is a quiet enough spot for us to focus on what we are doing. We spend most of our hours looking at screens and then checking the metal pieces that come out. It requires a lot of standing and a lot of patience. Sometimes a job takes much longer than we thought it would, but we don't leave until it’s right. We aren't the type of people to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices. We’re usually in old clothes that can get dirty without it being a problem. The coffee here is strong and we drink it often to stay sharp. We’ve been at this address for a while, and the locals know we are the ones to talk to for this kind of work. It’s a steady rhythm of programming and cutting. We don’t have a marketing department or a sales team. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. It’s just how we run things here in Kalapatti.
