The industrial area in Peelamedu is where you’ll find us, specifically at number 42. It’s one of those parts of town where there’s always the sound of hammers or machines in the background. We’ve been operating out of this unit for quite some time now. The space inside is mostly taken up by the press tools and the benches where we sit to check everything over. It can get quite warm in Coimbatore, especially in the middle of the day, so we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze might come through. Our walls are lined with various bits and pieces we’ve collected over the years, mostly stuff we might need one day. We aren't the type to have a fancy showroom; we just have our work area and a small corner where we keep the water cooler and some chairs. The floor is concrete and has the usual stains you’d expect from a place that works with metal and oil. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we all know each other’s habits. We don't really do much in the way of talking ourselves up; we just let the work sit there on the table. It’s a quiet, steady life here in the industrial estate. We show up, do the jobs that need doing, and head home when the sun goes down.
