This branch of M S Larsen Toubro Ltd is tucked away on the second floor of a building in Peelamedu, Coimbatore. We are at number 16 on Annamma Nagar 1St Street. If you know Thanneer Pandhal Road, you are basically there. One thing you notice right away is how close we are to the railway track. You can hear the trains passing by quite clearly, which took some getting used to when I first started working here. The office isn't very large, but we make the most of the space on the second floor. It’s a busy part of Coimbatore, and there is always a lot of movement on the street below. We handle a lot of the local coordination from this small hub. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when we are carrying equipment or boxes of documents. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a map of the area. Most of us have been working in this part of Tamil Nadu for a long time, so we know the local suppliers and how to get things done. It’s a straightforward environment. We show up, do the work, and head home. There isn't any fluff or corporate talk here. Just people doing their jobs near the tracks in Peelamedu. It works for us and keeps things moving day after day.
