Lovely Earth Movers

We have been running things from our spot at 45, M.T.P. Road for quite a few years now. You can find us right near the Union Bank in Kavundam Palayam. It’s a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We mostly deal with moving dirt and digging out spots for new buildings or roads. It’s the kind of work that gets you dirty by nine in the morning, but we don't mind that much. The machines we have are older but they still work hard. Usually, it’s just me and a couple of the guys who have been here since the start. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s mostly just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of maps of the local area. People around Kavundam Palayam know us because they see our yellow machines driving down the road. We don't spend money on big ads. Most of our jobs come from someone telling their neighbor about us. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the ground turns to soup, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It’s a lot of long days under the sun. We drink a lot of tea and just keep the engines running. This business isn't about being flashy. It’s just about getting the hole dug where it needs to be and making sure the equipment is ready for the next day.
