B & B Machines

Tucked away at 3, Sri Devi Nagar, on 3rd Street in Ganapathy, our little shop is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. It’s a quiet enough street for the most part, though you can usually hear our machines running from a block away. At B & B Machines, we have a collection of lathes and milling equipment that we use for various mechanical jobs. The shop floor is stained with oil from years of work, and the walls are lined with tools that have been there since we opened. We aren't a big factory; it's more of a local workshop where people bring things that need fixing or specific parts that need to be made. My team and I usually start the day by cleaning the shavings from the day before and oiling the slides. It’s a hands-on life where your fingernails are almost always a bit dark from the grease. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room; if you show up, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently busy with a machine. The neighborhood of Ganapathy has a lot of these small industrial units, so we are in good company. We don't worry about sounding professional on the phone or having a fancy website. We just care about whether the parts we make fit together like they should. It’s a simple way to earn a living, focused on metal, measurements, and a bit of hard work every day.
