Devi Hollow Block Machine

Our shop is at 107, Siddha Thottam, along the Sanganoor Road in the Ganapathy area. Devi Hollow Block Machine is what we call ourselves. As the name suggests, we spend our time making machines that produce concrete blocks. It is heavy work. There is a lot of welding and assembly involved. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with steel pipes and plates lying around. We started this small business because there was a need for local machines that didn't cost a fortune. We build them to be tough because we know they get used in rough conditions on construction sites. It is a noisy place when we are testing the motors. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. We drink our coffee together in the morning and then get to the grinding and bolting. Ganapathy is a good place for this kind of work. There are plenty of suppliers nearby if we run out of bolts or paint. We don't have a fancy office. Most of our meetings happen standing up near the latest machine we are building. We show people how to run them and how to fix them if they stop. It is a practical business. We just want to make sure the machines we send out actually do the job they are supposed to do. That is plenty for us.
