Lakshmi Textile Exporters Ltd. is based at 34 A Kamaraj Road. We’ve been working with fabrics and shipping them out for quite some time now. Kamaraj Road is usually buzzing with activity, which we like. Our building is an old one, but it has a lot of character. Inside, you’ll find stacks of cloth in all sorts of colors and textures. It can get a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s mostly just a handful of us managing the orders and the packing. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the latest shipments. Sometimes the logistics get messy, but we always find a way to sort it out. We don't use any of those big marketing slogans. We just know our textiles and we know who needs them. It’s a lot of checking and double-checking to make sure the quality is right before things go out the door. We’ve built some good relationships over the years just by being regular people. Lakshmi Textile Exporters Ltd. isn't trying to change the world, we’re just keeping the tradition of good textile work going from our spot on Kamaraj Road. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. There's always something to wrap or a truck to load up out front.
