Kevin Creation

Our workspace is at No. 150/156 on Manaka Street. It’s a busy little stretch of road, and we’ve been here for a good while now. Kevin Creation is a place where we focus on making things by hand. The building is quite simple, and we share the street with all kinds of other small shops like grocers and tea stalls. Every morning, we roll up the shutters and start by sweeping out the dust from the previous day. We have a few long benches where we spread out the materials we’re working on. It’s often a bit messy with scraps and tools, but that’s just how we work. The sounds of the street come in through the open door, so there's always a bit of life around us. We aren’t a big company with many employees, just a small group of us who know how to handle the work. We take things one day at a time, making sure each piece is finished properly. Sometimes we have people coming in from different parts of the city because they heard about us from a friend. We don't use any high-tech systems; we just write things down in a big ledger. Lunch is usually a quick break where we grab something from the vendor nearby. Manaka Street is a place where everyone works hard, and we’re just happy to be a part of that daily rhythm.
