Keruthika Fruits And Ice Creams

We have a bit of a mix here at our shop on Subash Street. It’s mostly fruits and ice cream, which actually goes together pretty well if you think about it. Being on Tirupur Road means we get a lot of people just passing through or stopping by on their way home from work. The fruit comes in fresh every couple of days, and we spend a lot of time sorting through it to make sure nothing is bruised. The ice cream side of things is a favorite for the kids in Thevangapuram. We have a couple of freezers packed with different tubs and bars. It can get a little crowded in the shop when a whole family walks in at once. We’ve got a few stools outside for people who want to eat their ice cream right away. Sometimes the fruit smells better than the ice cream, especially when the mangoes are in season. We’ve been at number 422 for a long time now. My wife helps me with the accounts, and my nephew handles the lifting. It's a real family effort. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just see the sign and walk in. Sometimes we have to deal with the heat affecting the fruit, so we move things around a lot. It’s a simple life, running a shop like this, and we’ve come to know most of our neighbors quite well. We just take each day as it comes.
