Kanakaraj Agro Farms

We are located at 3/183 Db Vaikkal Thottam in Vellalapalayam Village. It is part of the Pollachi Taluk area in the Coimbatore District. Living and working here on the farm is what we have always done. Kanakaraj Agro Farms isn't some big company with an office in the city. We are right here on the land. Every morning starts early, usually before the sun is fully up. There is always something that needs doing, whether it is checking the water or looking at the crops. The soil here in Vellalapalayam is good, and we try to take care of it as best as we can. My family has been involved in farming for a long time. It’s hard work and your hands are always dirty, but it feels right. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just grow what we grow and hope the weather stays good. The rain is always a big concern for us. When you come down the road to our place, you’ll see the fields and the trees. It’s a quiet life for the most part, away from the noise of Coimbatore. We just handle our business day by day. If the harvest is good, we are happy. That is about all there is to it. Just some people working on their farm in the village, trying to make a living from the ground. The post office at Vellalapalayam P.O. is where we get our mail most of the time.
