Joint Hands Women Farmers Producer Company Limited is situated at No. 490, Center Thotti Streetarepalayam Post in Hasannur. As the name suggests, it’s a group of women from around this area who decided to work together. Hasannur is a beautiful place, but the work in the fields is tough and doesn't get easier with time. We spend our days coordinating between the different farms and making sure the crops are being looked after. Our office on Center Thotti Streetarepalayam Post is a busy spot where women come to talk about the harvest or to settle the accounts. We don't have any polished managers; we just have our members who know how to grow things and how to run a household. It’s a lot of juggling, especially when you have to balance the farm work with everything else at home. The building we use is simple and functional, with enough space for us to sit and talk. Sometimes the meetings go on for a long time because everyone has an opinion on how things should be handled. We don't use fancy language or have big goals other than making sure our families are okay and the farm stays productive. It’s a community effort, and you can feel that when you walk in and see everyone working together. We just try to keep our hands busy and our spirits up every single day.
