Janani Farmer Producer Company Limited

We're based over at Kadya House in Mundur Village. It’s a quiet spot, really. A group of us farmers got together to form Janani Farmer Producer Company Limited because it made sense to work as one. Most days you’ll find us around the 2-9 area dealing with the usual farm business. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that, just a place where we handle the crops and talk about the season. We’ve been here for a bit now, just trying to get things organized for the folks living around Mundur. Sometimes it gets busy when the harvest is coming in, and other times it’s just the regulars stopping by to check on the paperwork. We don't have a lot of big machines or flashy signs, just the house and the work we do every day. Dealing with the weather and the market takes up most of our time, so we keep things pretty simple. It’s a local effort, run by people who actually know the dirt here. If you’re passing through the village, you’ll see the place. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It’s hard work, but being part of a group helps everyone out in the long run. We focus on what’s right in front of us, making sure the local produce gets where it needs to go. That's pretty much what we are about here.
