Our office is at 54A Rangaswamy Road in Coimbatore. It’s a pretty central location, so it’s easy for everyone to get here. The building is a bit tucked back from the main road, which helps a little bit with the noise. We have been at this Infosys Technologies branch for quite some time. The office is one large room mostly, with some partitions that we put up ourselves to create a bit of privacy. Coimbatore gets very warm, so we have several wall fans that stay on from morning until we lock up at night. There’s a small garden area out front that we try to keep watered, though the plants struggle in the heat. We have a simple routine. We arrive, check the mail, and start on the digital tasks. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle and some instant packets in the cupboard. The furniture is a mix of things we’ve picked up over the years, so nothing really matches, but it’s all sturdy enough. We prefer it this way because it feels more like a real workspace and less like a showroom. People often stop by just to ask for directions because Rangaswamy Road can be a bit tricky to navigate. We don't mind helping them out. It’s a friendly enough neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, day in and day out, without any big fuss. It’s a regular job for regular people who live here.
