We are located at No: 301 in the Sri Lakshmi Complex on Crosscut Road. That’s right in Gandhipuram, just opposite the Chennai Silks building. It’s a very crowded area, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping. Being in a complex means we have a lot of neighbors, so it’s never really quiet. Beta Technologies India Pvt Ltd has been here for a good while. The office is on an upper floor, so you get a bit of a view of the street below if you look out the window. We do a lot of technical work here, mostly stuff on computers and some software things. It’s a functional space with desks and chairs and not much else. We don’t really go for fancy interiors. Most of our day is spent at our screens. We go down to the local stalls for lunch or a quick coffee. Crosscut Road is the heart of the city, so it’s a convenient place for people to find us. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we’re just a group of people doing our jobs in a busy shopping district. Sometimes the elevators in the complex act up, so we take the stairs. It’s just how it is. We keep things moving and try to stay on top of the work we have to do. It gets hot in the afternoons but the fans keep us going through the day.
