Hotel Sree Murugan

We've been here on Geetha Hall Road for a while now. It's right across from the Coimbatore railway station, so there is always something going on outside. You see people rushing with bags all day long. Sometimes the noise from the trains and the traffic gets a bit much, but that’s just how it is around here. We opened Hotel Sree Murugan to give people a place to stay when they get off the train. It isn't a fancy place with lots of decorations, but it works for what it is. My family helps out with the rooms and the front desk. We know the area pretty well, like where to get good tea or which auto drivers are okay. Usually, it's just us making sure the sheets are clean and the fans are working right. The building at No 56 has been part of this street for years. We get a lot of people coming in late at night because the trains are delayed. They just want a bed and some quiet. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we have to repaint a wall, but we just get on with it. It’s a busy spot in Coimbatore, and we are just used to the pace. People stop by, stay a night or two, and then they are off to wherever they are going next. It’s just a normal hotel for normal travelers.
