Alagappar Hotel

We are located at 30 Alagesan Road over in Sivananda Colony. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Okkilikar Kalyana Mandapam, which is a pretty big landmark around here in Coimbatore. It is a busy street and there is always something going on with people coming and going from the weddings. Our place is not anything flashy or special to look at from the outside. We have been here for a bit and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time. Mostly we just focus on getting the cooking done and making sure people have a place to sit. The kitchen gets really hot especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We start pretty early in the morning to get things ready for the breakfast crowd. You will see a lot of locals stopping by before they head off to work. We don't have a big fancy team, just a few of us who know how to handle the rush. Sometimes the service is a bit slow if too many people show up at once but we try to keep it moving. It is just a regular hotel where you can get a meal without any fuss. We keep the tables wiped down but it’s a working place so it’s never perfectly quiet. We just do what we do every day.
