Alis Hotel is over on 7th Street Extension in the Gandhipuram part of Coimbatore. Our address is No 283/1. If you are looking for us, we are right near CSR Hospital. That is usually how people find their way here. Gandhipuram is a hub, so there is always something going on nearby. The hotel is a basic place for people to stay when they are in town for work or visiting someone at the hospital. We spend a lot of our time checking people in and making sure the rooms are ready. It’s a lot of laundry and cleaning, to be honest. It’s not a fancy resort with a pool or anything like that. It’s just a building with rooms and a staff that tries to keep things quiet for the guests. We see a lot of families and people traveling for business. The street outside can get a bit congested during the day, but it settles down at night. We have been here for a while and we know most of the shopkeepers on 7th Street. It’s a tight-knit area. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. It’s just us answering the door and the phone. If the fan in a room is making noise, we go fix it. It is a very hands-on kind of job. We just provide a place to sleep in a convenient part of Coimbatore. Nothing more than that. It is simple and it works for us.
