Arafa Hotel

We are right across from the Gandhi Park bus stop on Thelugu Street. If you’re waiting for a bus or just finished a walk in the park, you’ve probably seen our sign at No 7. Arafa Hotel isn't a grand hotel like the ones in the city center. It’s more of a local place where you can get a quick meal. We’ve been in Coimbatore for a while now. The building is a bit old, and the paint might be peeling in a couple of corners, but we keep the kitchen running all day. It gets noisy because of the traffic and the buses constantly pulling in and out across the street. We don't mind it much. It feels like part of the neighborhood. The tables are basic and we don't use fancy tablecloths or silver spoons. We just serve what we cook that morning. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening, so it’s better to come early. The staff here are just regular people from around town. We don't have uniforms that look like they came from a magazine. We just wear what's practical for working in a hot kitchen. It’s a busy life here near the park. We see all kinds of people, from workers to travelers. We just keep our heads down and do the work. If you're looking for something simple, come by and see us. We're just a normal shop doing our thing.
