Hotel Mount Heera

We are located on MKN Road in Alandur, which is pretty handy for people coming from the airport or the railway station. Hotel Mount Heera isn't one of those five-star places with gold statues. We are a simple hotel for travelers who just need a decent place to sleep. The building is right on the main road, so you can hear the buses and horns, but that’s just part of staying in this part of Chennai. We spend a lot of time cleaning rooms and making sure the laundry is done. The lobby is small and has a few chairs where guests wait for their rides. Our staff is mostly local guys who have been here for a while. They know where to get the best food nearby or which bus to take. Sometimes the Wi-Fi is a bit spotty, and we have to go reset the router. We see a lot of people passing through, some for work and some just visiting family. It gets busy during the wedding season because we are close to several halls. We try to keep the rooms tidy, though the building itself is getting a bit older now. We don't have a fancy restaurant, but there are plenty of spots within walking distance. Most of our guests are regulars who like that we don’t charge too much. It’s a basic operation. We wake up early to help guests check out and stay up late for the ones arriving on midnight flights.
