Started this place at 88 Sms Nagar back when the area was quieter. We’re over in Senthil Janatha Nagar in Ondipudur, right where the traffic picks up. Mostly, we just spend our days under hoods or looking at tires. Gsm Auto isn't some shiny place with a waiting room and coffee machines. It’s just a shop with tools and some oil on the floor. People find us because they live nearby or their car acted up while they were driving through. We handle a lot of different makes and models. Sometimes it’s just a quick oil change and other times we’re taking apart an engine to see why it’s making that knocking sound. It gets loud here with the tools running, but that’s how it goes. We know the neighbors and the people who walk their dogs past the gate every morning. If you’re looking for a spot that’s easy to find in Ondipudur, we’re right here. There’s usually a few cars parked out front waiting for parts or a pick-up. We don't spend much time on the computer, mostly we're just working with our hands. It's dusty work but someone has to do it. If you see the sign for Sms Nagar, you’re basically there. We’ve been at this for a while now and the regulars know where the keys go if we’re busy in the back. Just a normal local garage doing what we know how to do. The sun hits the shop floor in the afternoon and we usually have a radio playing somewhere.
