Page Automotive is located right at 246 B on Mettupalayam Road, just a short distance from the Saibaba Kovil Signal. It’s a busy area, especially with all the cars and bikes passing through that junction every minute. We spend our days surrounded by engines, tires, and the smell of oil. It’s a messy job sometimes, but someone has to do it. Our garage isn’t some high-tech lab; it’s a place where we get our hands dirty fixing vehicles. We see all kinds of cars come through, some just needing a quick look and others that take up a lot of space for days. Being near the signal means we get a lot of people dropping in because they noticed a strange sound while waiting for the light to change. We have a small team here, just local guys who know their way around a wrench. The shop floor is usually covered in tools and spare parts we’ve pulled out of various projects. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty for photos. We just focus on the work right in front of us. Mettupalayam Road can be a headache with the noise, but it keeps us busy. We like being part of the neighborhood near the temple. It feels good to see a car we worked on driving away smoothly. That’s pretty much what we do every day from morning until we close up shop in the evening. We keep it simple.
