At 45, Kovilpalayam, in the Sarkar Samakulam area, you’ll find Gs Machineries. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which is actually quite nice. We have enough space here to deal with the machines we work on. The surroundings are a mix of small shops and some open land. It’s a grounded kind of place. We spend our time fixing, selling, or just maintaining various types of equipment. Some days are slow, and we spend them cleaning the tools or reorganizing the workshop. Other days, everyone is rushing around trying to meet a deadline. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign with lights. People mostly know us by word of mouth in the local community. The office is just a corner of the building with a desk and a few chairs for visitors. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about the work. It’s not a corporate life at all. We wear work clothes that usually have a bit of grease on them by noon. That’s just the nature of working with machinery. We don’t make big promises or use complicated terms. We just look at the machine, see what’s wrong, and try to fix it. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it has worked for us so far. The weather here can get hot, so we usually keep the big doors open for some air.
