Glide Automation, Coimbatore

Glide Automation is tucked away at No. 10/11, on the 6th Cross in the Thaneer Pandal area of Peelamedu. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a good location for what we do here in Coimbatore. We work with different types of automation systems and components. Our workshop is usually full of wires, sensors, and control panels in various stages of being put together. It’s not a quiet place, there’s usually some testing going on or someone using a drill. We started here because there are so many factories and small workshops nearby that need this kind of help. The 6th Cross is a narrow street, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. Most of our staff are local folks from around Peelamedu who just like tinkering with electronics and machines. We don’t have a lot of corporate rules; we just try to get the jobs done on time. The building itself is just a standard industrial unit with concrete floors and high ceilings. We spend a lot of our time reading manuals and trying to figure out why a particular circuit isn't behaving. It takes patience and a lot of coffee. We’ve been here for a bit now and the locals know us. It’s a practical business, nothing too flashy, just people working hard in a small corner of Coimbatore. That's the way we've always done it.
