Erodeneera Coconut Producer Companylimited is based right here on Jeevanantham Street, near Sadayampalayam Road. We’re at 131/2 Poonga Nagar 3rd Street, and it’s usually pretty busy around here. We work with a lot of coconut farmers from the surrounding areas to get the neera and other products moving. It’s a group effort, really. We aren't some big city corporation; we’re just local people who know about coconuts. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks and a lot of paperwork piled up. We spend most of our time talking to the farmers and figuring out the logistics of getting things to market. Sometimes the trucks are late, or the weather doesn't cooperate, but we just deal with it. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We’ve been on Poonga Nagar 3rd Street for a while now, and it’s a good spot for us. People come by to chat or drop off things all day long. We don't have any scripted speeches or mission statements hung on the wall. We just want to make sure the farmers get a fair shake and the coconuts don't go to waste. It’s practical work, and it keeps us on our toes. There’s always something that needs fixing or someone who needs help with their trees. We just take it one day at a time and do what needs doing.
