You can find us on the second floor of 114-C, over on 5th Street Extension. It’s not a fancy building, but it works for what we do. We spend most of our time trading machinery and equipment. It’s a lot of paperwork and even more time on the telephone. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, so we get our exercise every day. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and stacks of catalogs for different machines. We deal with all sorts of things, from small parts to bigger gear that people need for their shops. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about the news, and other days everyone is rushing to get a deal finished. We don’t have a big warehouse right here; we mostly handle the buying and selling part of things. It’s a lot of keeping track of numbers and making sure the shipping addresses are right. We’ve been at this address for a while now and the people in the building know us well. It is a practical way to spend the day. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just helping people get the machinery they are looking for without too much fuss. It is a steady business and we like the routine of it. We just keep the records straight and make sure the calls get answered before the day ends.
