Over in Uplipalayam, specifically on Jothi Nagar5Th Street, is where Electromec Machinery Manufacturuers (P) Ltd. is located. Our address is 374/2, and it’s a place where we make machines. It’s a real hands-on environment. You can’t really work here without getting your hands a bit dirty at some point. We’ve got the workshop and the office all in one general area. It’s a local operation, and many of the people working here live nearby. We don’t have any corporate jargon or mission statements posted on the walls. We just have schedules and diagrams. The street outside can be a bit dusty, and there’s always someone moving parts around. We spend a lot of time making sure the machinery we build is put together right. It’s a lot of welding, cutting, and bolting things down. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world; we just want to make stuff that works. Usually, lunch is a quick break before getting back to the floor. The owners are often right there with the staff, checking on things. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s name. We’ve been in Jothi Nagar for a while, and we like the community here. It’s just a practical, hardworking shop where we focus on the task at hand and don't worry about much else. We keep the machines running and the orders moving out the door every single week. It is honest work and we are proud of it.
