It’s an area where there’s more space for the kind of heavy equipment we handle. Our yard is usually full of metal frames, large machines, and various pieces of hardware waiting to be shipped out. We deal with industrial equipment that people use in factories or for construction. It’s a loud place sometimes, especially when we are loading things onto trucks or checking the engines. The building is a basic shed-style structure that keeps the rain off the machines. We don’t have a fancy office or any soft carpets. The floors are concrete and usually have some scuff marks from moving heavy gear around. Being in Venketapuram means we have a bit more peace than the shops in the middle of town, though the road can get busy with lorries. We have a small crew of workers who know how to handle these big machines safely. Most of our day is spent checking the inventory and making sure every piece of equipment is in working order before it goes out. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we like the extra room it gives us. It’s a straightforward business where we focus on the hardware and not much else. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
