DURO OVERSEAS TRADING HOUSE

We are located at Number 1143 on Mettupalayam Road. It is one of those long roads where everything looks the same after a while. Our building is nothing special, just a place where we store goods and handle all the paperwork for the trading. It gets quite hot in the afternoon because the sun hits the front of the office directly. We have a few old fans that creak as they turn, but they don't do much. The floors are made of simple concrete and they have some cracks here and there. We don't spend money on making the place look pretty. Most of our time is spent checking shipments or arguing with the delivery drivers about where they parked. DURO OVERSEAS TRADING HOUSE is a bit of a long name for a place that feels so small. We have stacks of files that go back years and we really should probably throw some of them away. There are only a few of us here, and we all do a bit of everything. One minute you are on the phone and the next you are helping move a heavy crate. We don't have any corporate training or fancy rules. We just show up and do what needs to be done before we go home. It’s a plain, simple way to make a living on Mettupalayam Road, and we are used to the rhythm of it by now.
