DGMR ENGG. WORKS

DGMR ENGG. WORKS is at No.12 on 5th Street in Avarampalayam. We are an engineering shop that focuses on various metal works and parts. It is a small street and we have been in this same spot for quite a while now. The workshop is full of lathes and milling machines. It is greasy and loud, but that is exactly how an engineering shop should be. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine for visitors. If you come by, you will likely find us in our overalls working on a specific piece of metal. We take on all sorts of odd jobs from local businesses and individuals who need something custom made or repaired. Most of our customers are from Avarampalayam or the nearby industrial estates. We don't do much talking; we just listen to what the customer needs and then get to work on the machines. Sometimes we have to hunt around for the right materials, but we usually find what we need. It is a steady way of life and we have built up a decent reputation just by doing the work. The shop can be a bit messy during a big project, but we try to keep it organized enough to find our tools. It is just a regular local workshop where we do our best every day.
