Deena Paints Ltd.

You can find Deena Paints Ltd. over on Patel Road in Ram Nagar. It’s an old building, but it serves us well. We have cans of paint stacked up almost to the ceiling in some parts of the shop. Mixing colors is what we do most of the time. People bring in a little scrap of fabric or a piece of wood and ask us to match it. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it just right, but we don't mind. The floor has spills from years ago that won't come off, so it’s quite colorful. We deal with painters who come in early in the morning before their jobs start. It’s a busy time. Then it gets quiet in the afternoons. We aren't trying to be the biggest paint company out there. We just want to make sure the people in Ram Nagar have what they need for their houses. I’ve been here long enough to know which brands hold up best in the sun around here. We don't do much fancy talk. If a paint is going to peel, I’ll tell you. We just give honest advice and sell the cans. Sometimes the lid on a tin is a bit stuck, but we have the tools to pop them open. It’s a simple business really. Just brushes, rollers, and lots of color. We keep it practical and don't worry about the mess.
