5K Network

We are located at No.8 in Bharathi Colony, which is a quiet part of Peelamedu. 5K Network started here because we liked the area and it was close to where we lived. It’s basically just a few rooms filled with computers, cables, and some old chairs. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just us, a small group of people who handle the network stuff. Most days we are staring at screens or out on the road visiting sites. The office is often a bit of a mess with spare parts and tools lying around on the desks. We try to keep things moving, but technology can be a headache sometimes. People in the colony know us as the guys who are always working late. You can see the lights on from the street long after most people have gone to bed. Sometimes the neighbors come by if they have a problem with their own connection at home. We help out when we can. It’s not a fancy office with a glass front. It’s an old building, and the fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that we’ve just gotten used to. We do our own cleaning and make our own coffee in the back. It’s a simple life, but the work keeps us occupied and we like the independence of having our own little spot in Peelamedu where we can just focus on the task at hand.
