Data Engineer

Our office is at 52, Mettupalayam Road, right in the Anna Nagar Housing Unit area of Kavundampalayam. Coimbatore is a busy place, and Mettupalayam Road is one of the main veins. There’s always movement outside. We go by the name Data Engineer. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big corporate board or layers of management. It’s just a few of us in a room with our computers and a lot of coffee. The building isn't anything special, just a standard spot in a housing unit area. We like being in Kavundampalayam because it feels like a mix of residential and business. We deal with technical data and engineering problems every day. Some of it is repetitive, but it’s what we know how to do. We don’t use big words to describe our work. We just fix things and organize data so it makes sense to everyone involved. The office can get a bit cluttered with papers and old hardware, but we know where everything is. Lunch usually comes from the tiffin carriers we bring from home. We talk about local news or the weather while we eat. It’s a relaxed atmosphere even when we are busy with a deadline. We’ve been at this address for several years and don't plan on moving. It’s a good spot for what we do and the people here are friendly enough.
