Harini Exports & Imports

Our place is at No. 457/2 Ambedkar Nagar, right on the Chettipalayam Main Road in Malumichampatti. If you've ever driven through here, you know it’s a lot of trucks and dust because of all the industrial activity nearby. Harini Exports & Imports is right in the middle of it all. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we handle all the import and export paperwork. We spend most of our time tracking containers and making sure the loaders know what they are doing. It can get pretty loud with the traffic on the main road, but we've gotten used to it over the years. Some days are just long stretches of waiting for news from the port, and other days are a complete scramble to get things ready before the deadline. We have a couple of desks, a few old computers, and plenty of coffee to keep us going. The people around here are mostly working in similar businesses, so there is a bit of a community feel in Ambedkar Nagar. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It is just us doing the daily grind, checking the manifests, and hoping the rain doesn't slow down the transport. It is honest work and it keeps us on our toes. The main road always has something moving, which I guess is good for a business like ours because we never feel like we are stuck in one place.
