Our factory is located at 142/3 on Bharathi Street, along the Udayampalayam Road in Chinnavedampatty. We have been in this part of Coimbatore for a good while now. We build machines here, mostly for the textile and garment industry which is big in this region. The workshop is a large shed with high ceilings to keep it a bit cooler, though it still gets plenty hot in the afternoons. You’ll find lathes, milling machines, and welding stations spread across the floor. Our workers are local guys who really understand how to put these things together. We aren't a big corporate office with people in suits. Most of us wear work clothes that get dirty by the end of the day. We spend a lot of time testing the machines before they go out. If a part isn't fitting exactly right, we take it back and grind it down until it does. It’s a lot of manual labor and technical skill combined. We have a small front office where we handle the orders and the phone calls, but the real heart of the place is out on the shop floor. People come from all over to see the machines we make. We don't do much fancy advertising; we just rely on the fact that our machines do the job they are supposed to do. It’s a steady business and we take pride in the heavy iron we produce for our customers.
