Our factory is at 54, Sidco Indl. Estate in Kurichi. It’s a busy industrial zone, so you’ll see lots of trucks moving in and out all day long. We’ve been here for a long time, making chains and different types of tools for industrial use. The building is made of heavy concrete and it stays cool even when it’s hot outside. Inside, it’s pretty loud because of the heavy machinery we use. We don't have a carpeted office or air conditioning in the workshop. We just have heavy workbenches and a lot of steel. Our workers are local people who know how to handle the metal. Most of us have been doing this for a long time, so we don't need much instruction anymore. We just get to work when we arrive. We don’t spend money on fancy websites or big ads. Our reputation comes from the tools we make. If they last a long time, people come back. It’s a very simple way of doing business. Sometimes we have lunch together outside in the shade when it’s a nice day. We aren't a corporate giant with a board of directors. We are just a group of people who know how to work with metal and chains. It’s a tough job but it’s honest and it keeps us going. We’ve seen the estate grow around us over the decades and we plan on being here for many more.
