Carve Arts

Carve Arts is located at number 16 on Nallampalayam Road. You'll find us right at the entrance of Rajeev Gandhi Road in the Sanganur area of Coimbatore. We do a lot of hands-on work here. It’s the kind of place where things are actually being made, so it’s not always the cleanest or most quiet environment. We’ve got tools and materials sitting around most of the time. It’s a practical space for practical work. Being based in Sanganur is good for us. We get to work with our hands and see something finished at the end of the day. It’s a lot of hard work, honestly. Some days are long and my back hurts, but that’s what happens when you’re building or carving things. We don't spend much time on fancy marketing because we're usually busy with a project. People usually hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Coimbatore, just one that does honest work. The shop is right there on the corner basically. We’ve been here a while and know the local routine. If we aren't at the front, we're probably in the back working on a piece or cleaning up the wood shavings. It’s a simple setup. We just try to make things that look decent and do what they’re supposed to do without making a huge fuss about it.
