B KAY MACHINE WORKS

We have been running B KAY MACHINE WORKS for a good while now, right here on Avinashi Road. If you are looking for us, we are just opposite the Kovai Hospital. It is a busy spot but we like it because people can find us easily. My uncle started this place and we just kept it going. We do a lot of machine work, mostly repairs and making small parts when people bring them in. The shop is usually a bit dusty and there is always some noise from the lathes running in the back. That is just how a machine shop is. We have a few guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines inside out. Sometimes things take a bit longer than we want because we get a lot of walk-ins with broken parts that need fixing right away. We try to get through the work as it comes. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workshop with metal and oil everywhere. Most of our tools have been here since the start, though we bought a couple of newer ones last year to help with some of the trickier jobs. We spend most of our days measuring things and making sure the cuts are right. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the night. People around here know where to find us when their equipment breaks down and they need a quick fix.
