Associated Cement Companies Ltd

We have been here at 86M in Vivekanandapuram for quite a while now. Associated Cement Companies Ltd is just what the name says, really. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot over Kovai Pudur. You will find us dealing with stacks of bags and making sure the lorries can get in and out of the gate without too much trouble. It gets a bit dusty around the yard, but that is part of the job when you handle this kind of material. Some people stop by just to ask about prices or to see how much we have in stock for their small house repairs. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. There are just a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and plenty of paperwork to keep track of. The neighborhood has changed over the years, with more houses coming up nearby, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving, but it keeps us busy and out of trouble. We try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. Sometimes the phones ring more than we can answer, especially when there is a big building project going on nearby. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a steady one that people can find when they need some cement for their projects. It's a simple life here in this part of town.
