Apurva Chem Industries

You can find Apurva Chem Industries over on Thadagam Road, right across from the Agarwal School. We are in the Somayampalayam Post area, which is a bit of a drive out but not too bad. The building is No. 5. It’s a bit of a dusty stretch of road, especially when the school buses are moving. We spend a lot of time dealing with drums and containers. The smell of chemicals is just part of the air here, you don't even notice it after ten minutes. It’s a small team, mostly just a few of us making sure the orders are right. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything. The office is small and usually has too many papers on the desk. Sometimes we get behind on the filing, but the customers don't seem to mind as long as they get their stuff. We’ve been here for a good while, and the neighbors know us. It’s a simple setup. We don't do much in terms of advertising or trying to look bigger than we are. Mostly, it's just about getting the barrels onto the trucks and making sure the labels are on straight. Some days are slow, and we just sit around talking, while other days are a complete rush from morning till night. That’s just the nature of the business we are in here. We take it one shipment at a time and try to stay organized.
