You can find us at the Madukarai Market. Our shop is Sf18, right near the post office. Jerry Chem Industries has been around for a bit now. We deal with chemical products for local buyers. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us working out of this space. The market is always buzzing with people, so there's never a quiet moment. We stock various containers and drums in the back storage area. Sometimes the smell of the products is a bit strong, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We mostly sell to farmers and small workshops in the surrounding area. It’s honest work. We don’t have a fancy showroom. You just walk in, tell us what you need, and we see if we have it in stock. If we don’t, we try to get it for you by next week. My cousin helps me with the books and the heavy lifting. We usually have lunch together in the small back room with some homemade food. The rain can be a problem here during the monsoon. The roof leaked once, but we patched it up ourselves with some tar. We don't spend money on things we don't need. Our customers appreciate that we keep our prices fair. We know most of them by name. It’s nice to work in a place where people actually talk to each other. We take Sundays off to rest and spend time at home. It is a quiet life.
