Anbhalayam Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Kulothungan’s place on the Main Road in Arasakuzhi. If you know the Vriddhachalam area, you know how things are here. We are a group of local farmers who decided to work together to handle our produce. The office isn't much to look at, just a simple spot where we manage the daily paperwork and talk about the crops. Cuddalore can get really hot, so most of our meetings happen early or late in the day. We deal with the soil and the harvests every day. It’s a lot of physical work followed by sitting at a desk trying to figure out the logistics. Arasakuzhi is a small place, so the main road is where everything happens. We have been here for a while now, just doing our thing. People stop by to chat about the rain or the price of seeds. We aren't some big city corporation with a fancy lobby. It’s just a few of us making sure the local farming business keeps moving. Most of us grew up around these fields, so we know the land well. We spend our time checking on what’s growing and who needs it. It’s very practical work. We don’t have fancy machines in the office, just the basics to keep the records straight. It gets dusty from the road traffic, but that’s just how it is. We just focus on the task at hand.
