Amudha Surabi Collective Farming Farmerproducer Company Limited is located at No.11/99-15, in the AVK Tower. We are on Bhavani Main Road in Pachampalayam, right in the Annamaduvu area. It’s a collective effort, which means a lot of different farmers are involved in what we do. We wanted a way to work together so we could have a better chance in the market. The office in AVK Tower is where we handle all the meetings and the paperwork. It can get a bit loud when everyone shows up for a meeting, but that’s just how it is when you have a lot of stakeholders. We don’t put on airs here. We are all just people who know the land and want to make a decent living. Being on Bhavani Main Road makes it easy for us to transport goods and meet with buyers. Amudha Surabi Collective Farming Farmerproducer Company Limited was born out of a need for local farmers to have their own voice. We deal with the day-to-day problems like seed prices and transport costs. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or marketing slogans. We just focus on the collective and making sure everyone gets a fair deal. It’s a lot of coordination, but we’ve been at it for some time now. Pachampalayam is a good place for us to be rooted. We just take things as they come and keep working.
